Cyndi Peltonen
I have been teaching piano for the past 14 years and specialize in beginners of all ages. I earned a Vocal Music Education Degree at Wayne State University and taught music at North Hill Elementary in Rochester Hills, Baker Middle School and Troy High School, Brookside/ Cranbrook and Detroit Country Day Lower School.
I served as Music Director at Troy First United Methodist Church for 10 years where I directed the adult, youth, and children's choir. More recently, I was at Birmingham Unitarian Church in Bloomfield Hills, as Acting Music Director for two years.
My husband Bill and I have been married for 32 years and we have four young adult children. I recently "retired" from the Clawson Board of Education, after completing 20 years of service.
Five years ago, I started using interactive computer technology. My students find learning so much easier now; they are engaged, motivated and have fun learning!
